So, I know it has been a WHILE since I have blogged, but better late than never right?

Anyhow, here are some Kordick family Christmas photos. We decided sortof last minute to surprise our kids and grandparents for Christmas and take a little trip to Montana for the Holiday. IT WORKED! The grandparents never suspected a thing, and with the help of Uncle Kevin and Aunty Lindz, everything went of perfectly. We arrived Christmas morning, (just in time for breakfast and presents :) ) and gave them the surprise of the year! It was AWESOME!

Uncle Kevin and Kei

Grammy and Drake!

One day we bought some good ole target innertubes and went tubing. SO FUN!!!

Uncle Kevin knew about our arrival to Montana so he decided to make an igloo for the kids (well, at least he said it was for the kids, i think it was for him and Rick).

To get an idea of how big this thing was, it stood about 4ft tall, and it went back about 15 ft.

I am at the start of the "cave" kneeling to try to talk to Rick who is deep inside. At this point, I think I was semi frightened of its stability.....

The MEN (i mean boys) got so in to this igloo, they even made windows in it!

Keileys attempt at a "snow angel". She is so bundled, its hard to tell if that is even her. It is, I promise.

The snow was about 3-4ft in Uncle Kevins front yard so Rick thought it would be a GREAT idea to throw Drake from the balcony into the fluffy white powder. Drake thought it was a GREAT ideas too!

And finally...a family photo in the "igloo" complete courtesy of dad digging for about 2 hours!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SWEET GIRL!

Seems like just yesterday.....

11 years ago to the day, after our Thanksgiving dinner and all, Keiley decided it was time for her entry into this world. And we are so glad she did! It's hard to believe that we have a "preteen" (the word alone scares me to death), but it has been a most joyous 11 years with this little sass! e are so proud of her, she's a straight A student, and an aspiring dancer, singer, and pianist.

We love you Keiley! You bring a smile to our face and laughter to our hearts each and every day!

Fabulous Auntie Kim treated Keiley to an indoor skydiving adventure for her birthday...and let me tell you~~SO FUN!!!
Here she is super excited standing out front before we head up a few flights of stairs. (she has NO idea what she's in for).
Here are Keiley, Drake, and good buddy Chase dressed and ready to take flight.
Take notice how Keiley doesn't seem so super excited at this moment. Her smile is trying to hide a sign of fear and stress, maybe even the start of some tears, while Drake and Chase CANNOT wait!
Keileys flight in progress.
It is hard to tell, but the "skydivers" sort of walk thru the door and fall as if they were going to fall out of a plane. With huge fans above blowing air so hard you are weightless, it is like you are skydiving. Now, since our kids are beginners and virtually weightless anyhow, the teacher stays in with them to give them hand signals on what to do to maintain their positions while in the chamber. It is very loud, so the instructor can't talk to them, he has to use head and hand motions.

I've never seen anything like it, it is really amazing.

And incase you are wondering, Keiley gave me 2 thumbs up after her 1st flight and couldn't wait to go for her 2nd.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We all have so much to be thankful for, even in these trying times. Just look around at your loved ones to remind you of what its all about and count all blessings, large and small.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all :)

This is the whole gang...as you will notice, I wasn't the only wife/mom that opted out of this adventure......just dads and their brave children.
Drake looking ever so rugged on top of some rock with indian drawings on them.

And of course the dual pose. Aren't they adorable!!!!! (even if they didn't shower or brush their teeth for 24 hours)

Rick and the kids went on a 24 hour 4x4 adventure and campout this last weekend. You may ask "why didn't I tag along", well, any adventure that you need to bring along a shovel and a roll of toilet paper and call that your trip to the bathroom, I will gladly skip out on. All I kept thinking about was , my poor daughter, however, she had a fun enough time to want to do it again. I always knew she adapted well :)
